About Cómpeta
Cómpeta is a little town, situated in the Sierra Almijara mountains. It’s 20 minutes by car away from Costa del Sol. The town has approximately 4000 inhabitants. Half of this number is a group of people from foreign countries.
This place is the essence of Andalusia. Sun, olives and wine trees make Cómpeta one of the icons of this region. The town is famous by white painted houses typical for the region. It’s known as Pueblo Blanco, which means in Spanish – White City.
